On this past Veterans Day, November 11, the keynote speaker, Colonel David Ristedt, talked at the 17th Annual Veterans Day Breakfast at Duquesne University, in Pittsburg Pennsylvania. This event, considered to be the largest Veterans Day Breakfast in Pennsylvania was attended by over 600 Veterans, Patriots, Business People and Educators. This years theme focused on the sacrifices made by our service men and women over the past 14 years of war.
Colonel David E. Ristedt, is a highly decorated U.S. Army medical doctor who has served in the U.S. Army since 1987 and which includes three deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, explained post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) from the military perspective.
Colonel Ristedt has worked with Dr. Gordon on the Fort Bragg Employment Initiative. Last year, he attended the Veterans Day Breakfast event by text only, as he was deployed to Afghanistan. WE welcome him HOME
