Upcoming COAC Fundraiser – September 6, 2014

We are looking forward to another successful sporting clay event that will benefit our INJURED IRAQ & AFGHANISTAN Veterans. For the 3rd consecutive year Central Ohio American Charities has chosen The Resurrecting Lives Foundation as the beneficiary of this year’s fundraising event.

The Resurrecting Lives Foundation assists America’s Heroes who have sustained mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) by funding research about the injury, increasing awareness of the effects of mTBI in our Veteran population, partnering with the corporate community for Veteran’s employment opportunities, and working with legislators to assist our Wounded Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans.

Although ours is a debt that can never fully be repaid, we can honor these Veterans’ service and commitment by providing them a free day of recreational shooting, food and camaraderie. Because of the outstanding generosity of our sponsors, we anticipate approximately 15 Iraq & Afghanistan Wounded Warriors will be able to participate in the event in addition to the funds raised for Resurrecting Lives Foundation. We cannot even begin to tell you how excited and grateful they are!

Please consider showing YOUR SUPPORT of these worthy Veterans by joining us at this year’s event. It will take place at Cardinal Shooting Center, 616 State Route 61, Marengo OH 43334. Your donation covers shotgun rental fees, 100 targets, ammunition, safety glasses, ear protection, a light breakfast, and lunch. If you have your own shotgun, please feel free to use it!

There’s no need for you to be an experienced shooter. The day is meant for everyone to have fun and support our local veterans where they need it most. And there will be plenty of experienced shooters willing to teach you.
