“Operation Resurrection” Documentary screened in Marysville on May 14, 2014

Memorial Hospital of Union County sponsored a private screening of the Documentary, OPERATION RESURRECTION, a documentary about solutions for the nearly 450,000 returning Veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). There are an estimated 12,000 of these Veterans in Ohio. The documentary discusses solutions to Health Care, Education, and Employment for our returning heroes, and was introduced by US Congressman, Jim Jordan, representative of Ohio’s 4th district.

Also in attendance at the event, were Marysville Mayor, John Gore, as well as representatives for Union County Veteran associations. Several members of the Marion Veterans courts, including Judge Teresa Ballinger, were also present. A discussion panel followed the documentary led by Ken Bonnell of Union County Veterans Services explaining. The film, independently produced by Corpus Callosum Creations of Dublin, Ohio, supports the Resurrecting Lives Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit advocating for proper diagnosis and treatment for Veterans with TBI.
